Sonnet, affectionaly known as Super Sonnet is co-owned with Wendy Strickland and spends most of her time in Massachusetts. Sonnet had me the moment I saw her when she was 30 days old. I was brought back in time to 6 years ago when Poet was a pup. She was the same fat lazy pup her old man once was. How could I not choose her?? A sweet, well-behaved puppy, that easily adapts to all situations with fearless abandon, she was easy to house-train, is a quick learner and a wonderful addition to the pack.  She has grown up to become a real beauty (winning Best of Opposite in Match at the WRA Nationals in 2009 under judge Merril Woolf) and has the same sweetness factor as her big brother Panther. She charms everyone with her full body wag and her happy smile. She has also shown a bit of speed on the track. She finished her WRCh just before 2 years of age despite going through two heat cycles already, and is a multiple WRA meet winner. She is also on her way to an ORC, placing 7th at the 2009 NOTRA Nationals in a field of 96 whippets.

Sonnet whelped 6 beautiful black puppies sired by Whistle in Feb. 2010. One of her pups, Poeta Strictly Super Tramp won Best in Match at the WRA Nationals in 2010 under judge Lisa Costello. Tramp is also a NOTRA meet winner, as is his sister Poeta Super Model. So Sonnet is certainly passing along her soundness, her beauty and her speed!

Sonnet will be bred again, in the spring of 2012 to Score (Trumpet x TeePee).  Sonnet's speed and beauty combined with Score's incredible drive will produce outstanding performance dogs. Structure and temperament are present in oodles in these two dogs.

Sonnet is a full sister to Panther, but three years younger.
